Children of Savory Pattee

and Tamson Trachey:
Phineas Gordon | Joshua T

and Fannie Knapp
Day Emerson | Sarah Knapp | Hannah M | Tamson Trachey | Jonathan Blake | Lydia Merrill | William Eastman

Phineas Gordon - named after Aunt Joanna's husband
      1785 April 7 - born New Hampshire
Since his parents were supposedly married in 1793, something is wrong here. I suspect there was a typo on the marriage date - that they were really married in 1783 - but it is possible that Phineas was (a) illegitimate (b) the son of another woman (c) born in 1795 (typo on his birth date). Assuming the marriage date to be incorrect leaves fewer problems to solve, so I am going to make that assumption.
1800 census - either he or Joshua - or Day Emerson - is missing - or there was a typo

1833 - a certain Joshua Pattee was a petitioner in the Michigan territory
could he possibly be the “Jock” Pattee who was in Stephenson County, Illinois in 1839?

The settlers who came in during the year 1839, were: . . . D. E. Pattee, “Jock” Pattee . . . ‘ and a noble army of enterprising martyrs, whose names and records have been forgotten in the whirl of events . . . .
The History of Stephenson County, Illinois : containing a history of the county, its cities, towns, etc., biographical sketches of citizens, war record of its volunteers in the late rebellion, general and local statistics, portraits of early settlers and prominent men, history of the Northwest, history of Illinois, map of Stephenson County, constitution of the United States, miscellaneous matters, &c., &c. Mt. Vernon, IN : Windmill Publications, 1990. Compiled by M.H. Tilden. p. 257-8

If so, he had a tragic history:

Ibid, p. 500 - Among those who became residents of the township (Silver Creek) in 1839, were D E and “Jock” Pattee, with their families and others . . . . Shortly after the Pattees came, Mrs. “Jock” Pattee suicided by hanging, the tragedy occurring on Gallows Hill, in the eastern part of the township.

      1870 died?
